Silt Curtains are a suspended floating column that assist to control migrating sediment in water.
- Ideal applications: marine construction, bridge maintenance, aquatic site work and dredging.
- By disrupting the water flow, Silt Curtains allow suspended solids to settle to the bottom reducing stress to fragile aquatic systems.
- Silt Curtains are handmade in an Australian manufacturing facility.
Product Features:
- 100mm square PE Foam Floats.
- 600gsm UV stable PVC float chamber.
- 50mm seat belt webbing below the float as tensioner for the PVC float pocket.
- 270gsm non-woven needle-punched polypropylene geotextile filter skirt.
- 600gsm PVC ballast pocket containing 6mm galvanised chain and reinforced to the skirt by 25mm webbing.
- Finished with marine zipper size 10 and ASTM Z connectors at the float pockets.
- Connection reinforced by webbing loops to support our zipper connection system.
